Most recently being an important part of the construction, development, and successful opening of a private comprehensive cancer center. The center incorporated diagnostic radiology and chemo therapy services. I would like to continue my career in the construction side.

Position: Manager and Chief Radiation Therapist
• Worked closely with the Administrative Director to revamp the department and within four years the department is practically new.
• CUH is a multisite department of 60 employees and $6M operating budget. Radiation Oncology has 3 linear accelerators, 2 GE CT-Sims, HDR and prostate seed implant programs.
• Identified opportunities to improve patient safety and participates in projects and programs designed to reduce errors, improve processes, and to create a mindfulness culture for patient safety.
• Responsibilities included directing, supervising and coordinating daily activities of various multi-practice locations in order to accomplish organizational, clinical and financial goals.

• The Department of Radiation Oncology reduced its overtime to one of the lowest in the hospital by properly allocating and scheduling staff.
• Implemented process improvements increasing department productivity 9%, decreasing turnover rate by 5% and reducing expenses 8% (Instrumental in developing process improvements).
• Prepared a business plan proposal for administration to demonstrate the need to revamp the entire department with state of the art technology. This allowed us to compete with other regional departments as well as being able to provide the most sophisticated level of care to our patients.
